Abstrak

Chemistry plays an important role in everyday life that requires teachers to prepare students in the process of forming and developing abilities in the field of science through providing direct experience. Providing direct experience is very effective in the implementation of learning carried out through practical activities. Practicum in the lab sometimes has many obstacles in terms of practical preparation or infrastructure that do not support practical activities. Alternative practicum activities can be overcome by one way by using virtual media in practical activities known as virtuallab. This type of research is a descriptive study with one experimental class. The study was conducted at SMA 1 Tuban in the even semester 2018/2019. The subjects of this study were the XII MIPA 1 class, all of which were 34 students. During the research process, researchers used the method of observation, tests and questionnaires. Cognitive learning outcomes of students with pre-test and post-test values ​​with the n-gain score formula, 21st century skills through observation methods, and student responses to learning by giving questionnaires. The n-gain score test results 0.724 which shows that the mastery of students' concepts is good. The average 21st century skills of students provide sufficient results until good. Questionnaire responses give positive results with a percentage of 80.32%.
